Manchester United Striker, Edinson Cavani banned for three matches, and fined £100K and also to go through a face-to-face training after being charged of racism under EFA Rule E3.
Cavani responded in a way that has been branded racist to a comment on one of his social media accounts after Man United had won 3 - 2 against Southampton in an England Premier League match played in November, 2020.
Responding to a congratulatory message, Edison Cavani said, 'Gracias negrito.'
The Spanish term which makes reference to race, and translates directly as;
'Thanks black'.
Cavani will now miss games against Aston Villa (Premier League), Manchester City (EFL Cup) and Watford (FA Cup).
