The Zimbabwe Warriors drew at home with Botswana in the 2021 Total Africa Cup of Nations AFCON 2021 Qualifier match played at the National Sports Stadium.

The Warriors needed a win against the Zebras of Botswana in order to keep relevant in the AFCON Qualifiers, but the lukewarm performance left local fans disappointed as the Warriors failed to take advantage of home advantage.
Only, Marvelous Nakamba, Marshall Munetsi, and Kuda Mahachi who came on in the second half of the game, on the Warriors side perfomed quite well, as much of the players were in a bad form.
Zimbabwe will play Zambia away in Lusaka in their second match of the AFCON 2021 Qualifiers in Group H.
Algeria lead the group after defeating Zambia’s Chipolopolo 5 : 0.
