Hadebe’s Malatyaspor knocked out of Europa League



Turkey’s Super Lig side,Yeni Malatyaspor were, yesterday, knocked out of the Europa League Cup 2019/20 in the play off stages of the competition, by Serbian league club, Partizan.

Yeni Malatyaspor beat Partizan 1 – 0 in the last leg played yesterday, but the result was inadequate for progression into the group stage of the Europa League for the new team of Zimbabwe Warriors defender, Teenage Hadebe, who had expressed his desire to play in the group stages of the tournament.

Partizan won the qualification round on match goal aggregate, 3 – 2, having won the first leg which was played last week, 3 – 1.

Teenage Hadebe moved from Kaizer Chiefs to the Turkish Super Lig side, Yeni Malatyaspor, just after the Africa Cup of Nations 2019.

Teenage was on the bench in the match.
