Manchester United star player, Paul Pogba, missed the team's best chance to win the match against Wolverhampton in a match played tonight at the Molineux Stadium.
Antony Martial scored United's opener in the first half of the game, 27 minutes, only for his effort to be canceled by a Ruben Neves' long range shot in the second half, 55th minute.
Pogba was 'fouled' to win the penalty, although it seemed he had dived, and went on to take the penalty ahead of Rashford who is first in line for the duties. Rashford scored in Manchester's 4 - 0 win against Chelsea last weekend in an England Premier League match, and was likely the favorite for the fans to take the penalty.
A United fan tweeted, 'How on earth is Pogba allowed to take that penalty. This is absolute nonsense.'
Another one said, 'He is an absolute waste of time please get rid of Pogba.'
'Baffles me why Pogba is taking penalties ahead of Rashford to be honest, surely after banging one in last week he should be on them.' Tweeted another one.
Gary Lineker, former England player and current sports broadcaster tweeted,
'Inexplicable that Pogba should take the penalty after Rashford took one and scored last week. As a striker that would absolutely do my head in.'
