Nakamba's transfer fee from Club Brugge to Aston Villa was 12 million British pounds.

Zimbabwean footballing legend, Peter Ndlovu, spoke to 'The Athletic' and revealed that 'chiefs' in Hwange, Nakamba's birth-town, are thinking of building the statue.

Peter Ndlovu said;

Marvelous knows that we are recognising his hard work with this idea and hopefully the statue will be a confidence booster for him.

Moving to Aston Villa is an unbelievable achievement for him and we must show our support as a nation.

The people of Hwange recognise their heroes and while the exact details are yet to be finalised, discussions are taking place to decide what happens next.

Marvelous Nakamba played his debut match for Aston Villa against Crewe in a Carabao Cup match and the team won 6 - 1.
