Triangle FCs Coach Refuses To Cry Over 'Cheating' Ref After Loss To Chapungu - "I have seen this guy doing it"

Triangles FC's coach Taurai Mangwiro believes his team was robbed of points in their 1 - 0 loss Chapungu United FC in a Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League match played on the weekend.

Chapungu's Ian Nyoni goal which was allegedly scored from an offsode position in the 64th minute, stood despite protests for cancellation from, Triangle's players, stands, and the bench.

Coach Taurai Mangwiro spoke about the loss with the sports news media:

“I am not a cry baby, everyone including Chapungu players saw what happened,”

“But if someone (referee) says that’s not an offside then we revise the way in which we tell the players to apply these laws of the game.

“Because all I thought was he was waiting for these guys to get the opportunity, which he did and scored. It’s not even something debatable.

“I have seen this guy (referee) doing it several times we have played here (Gibbo) but I am not a cry baby, its fine. Congratulations to Chapungu, we live to fight another day,” said coach Taurai Mangwiro.
