Reports: Dynamos FC might appoint Dutch head coach - Pieter De Jongh

Premier Soccer League side, Dynamos FC have been, in reports, linked with Pieter De Jongh, a 'Dutch' coach who once coached Swaziland's National Men's Soccer Team, and Afc Leopards of Kenya.

Dynamos who recently fired, now former coach, Lloyd Chigowe and his assistant coach Murape Murape, are working with team captain Sadomba, and Chihoro as coaches before appointing new coaches at the end of this week and are definitely looking forward to appoint a new head coach and an assistant in order to remain relevant in the league.

The Nigerian agent to Pieter De Jongh, Idowu Ismail Oluwabiyi confirmed the coach's interest in Dynamos' job in a telephone interview with the sports media,

Yes, we have made contact with Dynamos. De Jongh would like to bring Dynamos back to the top of Zimbabwean football and also back to the continent, that is the Caf Champions League.”

However, Dynamos FC's spokesperson, Tinashe Farawo played down any team contact with the coach saying,

Dynamos is a big institution and every time people are interested in making it better. We always have people making enquiries and names will always be thrown around,” he said.

It will be known by the end of this week before Match Day 5 of the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League kick off if Pieter De Jongh, is DeMbare's new coach.
