The Zimbabwe National Men's Soccer Team - (The Warriors) would be looking forward to play Congo-Brazzaville to at least a draw in order to secure qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Egypt starting in June - and ending in July (2019).

Warriors coach, Sunday Chidzambwa has already selected a 28 - player provisional side to face Congo-Brazzaville.

Ovidy Karuru:

Failure is not in the picture because we have done the hard part already.

“We just need a win nothing less than that even a draw we done want it because it’s our home game and when we at home we want to win,

“We have to come there prepared for the game because it’s a very important game for the whole country

“We need to make sure that we qualify because failing is not an option for us, that’s why we need to give our all in this game.

“We just need to fight as a team not as individuals because teamwork is going to win us the game.

“Fans should rally behind the team for the whole 90minutes because we need them from the first minute to the last.
“We won’t disappoint them we will put our bodies on the line in that game,

“I think I have done well considering the fact that I started three months after the season started because of the injury that I sustained at Cosafa so by God’s I think I have done well,

“So far so good at Amazulu because we are doing well as a team, we are fighting together as a team.

“And for me as an individual I am doing good because I started late and I am the second top scorer in the team,” said Ovidy Karuru. Hmetro.
