FC Platinum Dominates Esperance on Ball Possession in their last match of a horrendous Total-Caf Champions League - Campaign


FC Platinum today played their last match of the Total-Caf Champions League 2018-19 campaign against Esperance (Tunisia) at Barbourfields Stadium in Bulwayo. The match kicked off at 15:00, and FC Platinum  dominated on ball possession in the entire match,  as well in the other areas of the match, but were caught off-guard in front of goal.

FC Platinum scored their goal in the 63rd minute through midfielder Alli Sadiki (31), and Mohamed Meskini (21) scored for Esperance Tunisia in the 18th minute of the match, A. Rejaibi in the 84th minute assisted by Z. Berrima.

FC Platinum end the campaign at 2 points in the Total-Caf Champions League-Group B, and Esperance (Tunisia) scrapped two lucky goals to make it to 3 points on top of their points.

The defeat comes after the Zimbabwe Football Association - President, Felton Kamambo wrote a letter to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) complaining of the body's ill-treatment of FC Platinum in the Champions League tournament.
