John Terry Blasts Kepa Arrizabalaga after refusing to come off the pitch in Chelsea-s Carabao Cup Final loss to Manchester City

Chelsea FC coach Maurizo Sarri in Manchester City loss in the Carabao Cup Final, played on Sunday 24 February, might have had hoped to substitute goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in extra time for proven penalty stopper, Willy Caballero, however Kepa refused to come off the pitch. Chelsea FC lost 4 - 3 to Manchester City on penalties.

Former Chelsea Skipper John Terry believes it was disrespectful to the manager for the 24 year old to refuse to come off the pitch;

Once your number goes up you have to come off and show a bit of respect,” said the former Chelsea captain Terry, speaking on Sky Sports.

“Deal with that after. That’s the last thing the players want.

"It’s certainly not the end of it it’s clouded a good performance. It’s taken the shine off a good performance, it’s disappointing. We’ll see what happens," said Terry while speaking on Sky News.
