Football Elections: Highlanders FC Appoints New Vice President and Treasurer after elections


Morden Ngwenya and Donald Ndebele emerged victorious in the Highlanders board-elections held today, 03 Sunday 2019, in Bulawayo for the vice-president and the treasurer post respectively. Ngwenya & Ndebele will hold the posts for the next three years at the club.

Highlanders official online media took time to announce the results and congratulate the winners of the elections on their platform:

Congratulations to Ndebele and Ngwenya who retained Treasurer and Vice Chairman's posts respectively. Treasurer's Post Charles Ndlovu 43 Donald Ndebele 92 Vice Chairman's Post Longwe Ndlovu 40 Modern Ngwenya 95 135 members voted.

"Vice Chairman Modern Ngwenya (left) and treasurer Donald Ndebele (right) say they are humbled by members who showed confidence in them by voting them back into office. They both said they will repay members' loyalty by taking the Club forward" reported Highlanders Official Online Media.

The development comes at a time when Highlanders are in the midst their preparations for their Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League 2019 & will likely aid to the process.
