Coach Lloyd Chitembwe has revealed to the news media that he would like to have a complete 2019 Caps United squad by the end of this week for the upcoming Zimbabwe Castle Lage Premier Soccer League season.

Chitembwe is largely working to retain his teams' last ZPSL's season players into his team, and he has signed a few players to add to the Caps United squad.

So far the signings added to Caps United's last season ZPSL squad includes, Phineas Bhamusi, Gabriel Nyoni, Newman Sianchali, Pride Zivengwa, Blessing Sarupinda and Clive Rupiya.

Lloyd Chitembwe denied that Caps United FC has signed a finalist of the Soccer Star of the Year Award 2015 in the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League, Hillary Bakacheza.

In his comment to Hillary Bakacheza's rumour, coach Lloyd Chitembwe said, “We do not bar players from training with us, for now we are not talking about any other signings save for those already confirmed.”
