The player strike at CAPS United FC continues despite the start of the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League drawing closer. Caps United FC players reportedly kept in their team bus yesterday over unpaid salaries.
It has been two days without training since the strike began and Caps United are yet to deal agree on anything with the players.
Lloyd Chitembwe, and other technical team members were reportedly present at Mount Pleasant High School and were trying to convince players to train.
However, Caps United FC players will not resume training until their salaries have been paid.
“We will not train until we are given our dues,” an undisclosed player said.
