FC Platinum begin their 2018\19 Total-CAF Champions League on the 12th of January at Barbourfields Stadium (Home to Highlanders FC) in Bulawayo, (Bulawayo). CAF asessed FC Platinum's home-ground Mandava Stadium (in Zvishavane) and deemed it unsuitable for a competition of such a magnitude in the continent, hence Platinum were given two choices to choose from, which were the Zimbabwe National Sports Stadium, and the Barbourfields Stadium of which Platinum chose Barbourfields citing reasons of convinience.
