News: Racism-FULHAM Promise To Take Action After Aboubakar Kamara Abuse On Social Media Regarding His Penalty Miss

Aboubakar Kamara on Fulham 1 - 0 win against Huddersfield Town FC denied Aleksandar Mitrovic of his role to take penalties, by insisting on taking the penalty himself, then saw his effort saved.

Due to the incident Aboubakar Kamara was subjected to racial abuse on social media causing Fulham's technical team to look into the matter and vow to take appropiate action.

Posts have been on Instagram and other online mediums, of monkey and banana emojis targeted at Kamara, some messages calling him  "a “f****** black”.

“We are aware that numerous hurtful comments have been posted on Aboubakar Kamara’s social media account.

“As a club that prides itself on our respect and civility, we condemn anyone associated with this repulsive activity.

“The club will provide all necessary support to Aboubakar and take the strongest possible action against those responsible.” Said a Fulham's spokesperson.

After he missed the penalty, Fulham supporters booed Kamara, and Claudio Ranieri also claimed the forward “disrespected” his manager, team-mates, fans and club.

However, it is unclear if the posts are from genuine Fulham fans, with many supporters hitting out at the online abuse.
