ZIFA Election 2018: Chiyangwa Contestant Cleared, Barry Manandi Running, Election date moved


Felton Kamambo is among three aspiring Zifa Executive Committee members cleared to contest in the upcoming 2018 Zifa Elections. Elton Kamando will contest with current Zifa President Philip Chiyangwa for the post of President. Zifa Committee Chairperson, Vusilizwe Vuma is said to have revealed in a letter that Felton Kamambo who had been disqualified for improper nomination, along with Messrs Mlungisi Moyo, and Gift Banda could now take part in the elections to be held on 8 December 2018.

Zifa cites that appeals by the three candidates were not dealt in accordance with Article 12 Subsection 3 of the Zifa Electoral Code following bans for election after misconduct.
